TMOV Thermally Protected 14D 621K 621 Metal Oxide Varistor for Surge Protection Modules
TMOV Thermally Protected Varistors are radially leaded metal oxide varistors (MOVs) with a thermally activated element designed to open during overheating. The integrated thermal element and the enclosure design work together to facilitate surge-protection module compliance to UL1449. These performance capabilities of TMOV varistors serve cord or permanently connected applications. These varistors offer quick thermal response due to the proximity of the thermal element to the MOV body. This integrated configuration provides the added benefit of lower inductance than most discrete solutions.
